D2D pledges $1 per sell to tsunami efforts, 20% off shooters


Digital distribution service pledges $1 to American Red Cross for every game sold up until 21 March to aid Japanese tsunami relief efforts. Also offering 20% all shooters this weekend.

Additionally, many publishers (including 2K, Atari and Paradox) have promised to match any donations provided by Direct2Drive - a full list of such publishers can be found here.

Further "As a thanks to [their] users for supporting the disaster relief efforts", D2D are offering 20% off all first-person shooters this weekend. The offer ends Monday 21 at 10am PDT. This includes new releases Homefront and Bulletstorm.

In order to make use of the offer you'll need to enter code SPECWAR5 at the checkout.
