Infinity Blade outperforms Shadow Complex

Speaking to Joystiq, Epic Games' Vice President, Mark Rein, has stated that Infinity Blade has outperfromed Shadow Complex.

Rein said that iOS game Infinity Blade has been "hugely succesful" and has outdone XBLA release Shadow Complex - both games developed by Chair Entertainment.

What itsn't clear is whether Rein means it has been more succesful in terms of revenue or in terms of total sales. Infinity Blade goes for £3.49 on Apple's App Store (having just returned from being on sale at £1.79) whereas Shadow Complex will set you back 1,200MS points (about £10).

Shadow Complex's leaderboards suggest that it has been downloaded just over 545k times and so, if Rein's comments are based on revenue, Joystiq calculates that Infinity Blade must have been purchased at least 1.36 million times.

We recently named Infinity Blade our 'toilet game of the week'. Check it out here.
