Cytpic Studios now free to play Champions Online superhero MMO appears to be doing rather well according to figures released by the developer today. According to Cryptic, Champions Online's online concurrent user, unique login and revenue totals have increased by over 1,000 percent since Free for All launched on 25 January.
To say thanks to al the players, Crytpic has created a special free XP boost available for pick-up inside the game in the C-Store's Bonus tab.The boost is an increase to experience gain and it's available to free and Gold Membership players.
Cryptic CEO, John Needham added "We're extremely proud of what the Champions team has accomplished with the Free for All launch. It's a pleasure to thank our fans and welcome new ones with this gift."
