The most expensive car racing game ever developed has been named as Sony’s Gran Turismo 5.
The game was awarded the title in the forthcoming edition of the Guinness World Records 2011 Gamer’s Edition book, which launches January 20.
The book’s Damian Field told IncGamers: “Gran Turismo 5 (2010) racked up costs of more than £38 million during its four years in production making it the most expensive racing game development.”
The Guinness World Records 2011 Gamer’s Edition will retail at £14.99.
