Finalists For 11th Game Developers Choice Awards Revealed

The finalists in each category for the Game Developers Choice Awards (an awards ceremony held during the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco,) have now been announced.

Industry peers have given multiple nominations to Limbo (seven, including Game of the Year), Red Dead Redemption (six, also including Game of the Year) and Mass Effect 2 (five, including Game of the Year too.)

In due course the Game Developers Choice Awards committee will also reveal some recipients of special awards, including "Pioneer, Ambassador and Lifetime Achievement."

The winners in the above categories will be announced at an awards event on 2 March at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco, as part of the 2011 Game Developers Conference.
