APB Reloaded Closed Beta Instructions

APB - All Points BulletinAll Points Bulletin looks set to continue its Phoenix-like return from the ashes, with a closed beta session planned for mid-to-late February.

Applications are being taken now, with full instructions on how to give yourself a chance of being involved posted up on the APB Reloaded blog.

Essentially, you need to submit a working email address at this page and create a GamersFirst account (preferably with the same address); then sit tight and hope you get an email around early February. Said email will request "a lot of additional data," including a few technical things like DxDiag information. If you're fine with providing that, you should then receive a closed beta key.

The team note that they've had 20,000 emails registering interest so far (a number surely set to rise as this gets posted around all the news sites,) and are ultimately aiming for around 6,000 - 8,000 people in the closed beta.

It's also stated that "NO PRE-EXISTING ACCOUNTS will be part of the closed beta." However, it is hoped that players of the original APB will be able to reclaim "customizations, gear, and character names" that they had during their first run at the game when it eventually re-launches.
