Nintendo’s Wii Fit has outsold ever celebrity fitness DVD on the market, a new report reveals.
According to the British Video Association, Davina McCall’s fitness DVD’s are top in the celebrity line-up, shifting 830,000 copies over the past four years.
But Chart-Track has confirmed that Wii Fit has sold 4.4 million copies in the UK since April 2008.
Speaking to trade paper MCV, Nintendo’s UK marketing manager Rob Lowe said: “Wii Fit is already bigger than any fitness DVD out there.
“Wii Fit has sold over 3m units, while Wii Fit Plus has sold more than 1.4m according to Chart-Track.”
