No Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit DLC for PC Gamers

Need For Speed: Hot PursuitEA recently unveiled their first paid-for DLC for Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit but it's been confirmed today by one of the developers on their official forums that it'll only be available to Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 gamers, not PC gamers.

"Hey all, unfortunately we will not be releasing Need for Speed Hot Pursuit PDLC for the PC. While we are certainly committed to providing the best possible game experience and ongoing support for our PC community, (as you have already noted) we have a limited amount of resources that makes it so that we are unable to deliver new content to all platforms. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience, but on the positive side we do have more updates and content on the way for PC players--look for news very soon."

"updates and content" sounds a meagre bone,  but it's all you're getting so best make the most of it. In case you're wondering what you'll be missing out come December 21st:

"It adds three rather awesome new cars into the mix; the Porsche 911 GT2 RS, GUMPERT Apollo S, and Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport. There are also 13 new race and pursuit events for you to demonstrate your skills on, and of course some new achievements to collect. It will be available at a cost of $6.99 USD (560 Microsoft Points) and will be released beginning on December 21 on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in North America and on December 22 on PlayStation Network in Europe. "
