Pirates Of The Burning Sea Goes Free To Play

Swashbucklin' 'n lootin' MMO Pirates of the Burning Sea is now free to play, according to a news post at the game's official site.

Sign-up and feature details can be found on this page. Paid accounts are now automatically enrolled in the "Captain's Club" entitling them to various "premium" perks out of reach of the unpaying, unwashed wretches.

However, freebie players still have access to the superly named 'Treasure Aisle' shopping center, in which piratical perks can be purchased for a few doubloons or so.

A full comparison between paid and free accounts can be found here.
