GT5 Arrives One Day Early For Some Lucky Gamers

It may not officially launch until tomorrow, but thanks to Royal Mail the first copies of Gran Turismo 5 arrived for some lucky gamers this morning.

Retailer ShopTo sent out its first batch of GT 5 games yesterday to make sure they landed on customers doormats for Wednesday, but many received them one day early.

ShopTo’s Phil Driver told IncGamers: “We have posted out to arrive on release day”.

Posting on the firm’s Facebook page, user James Alexander Cripps wrote: “Received my copy bright & early this morning. Enjoying the licence tests at the moment!!”

Dave McClean wrote: “Just got mine, 133mb update hurry up!”

However, user Chris Sullivan revealed he is experiencing problems with the game freezing up.

He posted: “great game but mine keeps freezing! should i send it back?”
