While the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm expansion is not out until December 7, gamers will be pleased to hear patch 4.0.3a is released today.
The new update will transform Azeroth in preparation for the add-on as Deathwing rises from beneath it.
The patch will bring a complete redesign of the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor areas, with an overhaul of the Vanila areas such as Barrens and Orgrimmar.
The full launch of Cataclysm will raise the level cap from 80 to 85, as well as introducing the Worgen and Goblin playable races. It will also add a number of new dungeons to the game.
Yesterday, Blizzard announced the end of the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm beta.
