Swindon's Museum of Computing will hold a family gaming day on 27 November to celebrate 25 years of Super Mario Bros.
That Saturday, visitors will be able to compete in a double age bracket 'Super Mario Bros Competition' to see who can achieve the highest score in three Mario titles (including the 1985 original) and be crowned 'Super Mario Bros Master.' You'd all better hope Steve Wiebe and Billy Mitchell have too far to travel.
People who bring their own DS along will also be eligible to enter the Mario Kart DS Multiplayer Championship.
Doors open at 9.30am, with an admission fee of £2.00 GBP for adults, £1.50 GBP for students and other concessions, £1.00 GBP for ages 6-15 and absolutely nothing if you're under five years old. Alongside the contests outlined above, museum curator Simon Webb promises face painting, multiple opportunities to play Mario titles across all platforms and the chance to have your photo taken as Mario himself.
