Druids Expansion For King Arthur Introduces Flightless Dragons

Paradox Interactive and Neocore Games have announced the latest expansion to King Arthur: The Role-Playing Wargame.

Entitled "The Druids," this add-on will provide a reported 30 hours of gameplay as players aid King Ryons of Wales in his quest to restore the power of the Old Faith to Britannia. If the screenshots (click through for those) are anything to go by, you'll be able to call upon large, flightless dragons to boost your ranks in battle.

King Arthur: The Druids also promises some customisation options - such as how important a role magic plays in the game - and a full sandbox mode, which makes certain objectives strategic, rather than a narrative necessity.

The expansion is scheduled for a fourth quarter 2010 PC release through digital download services, and will require a copy of the original King Arthur to play. No price has yet been announced.
