We loved the Assassin's Creed Lineage short movie, it really made you want to get stuck into Assassin's Creed 2 before it was released. If you enjoyed Lineage, then you'll be pleased to know that UbiSoft Montreal is releasing a new short animated story called Assassin's Creed Ascendance which will be released on the PlayStation Store, Xbox LIVE and other digital channels.
The new animated short will bridge the story gap between Assassin's Creed 2 and Brotherhood following Ezio as he "struggles to remove the treacherous Borgia family from their papal throne. Ezio will learn the brutal truth behind Ceasare Borgia's rise to power to control Italy."
UbiSoft released the following short trailer.
