The creator of Gran Turismo 5 has confirmed today that the ‘release date is about to be announced’.
There’s been many rumours with the game’s release date following its delay last month, with analyst Michael Pachter stating it will be out ‘mid-December’.
Now the CEO of developer Polyphony Digital Kazunori Yamuchi wrote on his blog: “It looks like the release date is about to be announced."
Yamauchi again apologised for the delay, writing: “It's because time and labor were spent ironing the kinks out of [the game's] complex system. I'm really sorry. Everyone, it's inexcusable... Wait a little longer."
Gaming investor Michael Pachter today said he believes GT5 ‘is likely to become the biggest-selling PS3 game to date’.
