The official DJ Hero Facebook account has announced that a newly-released patch for Xbox360 and PS3 versions of the game now allows players to use downloadable mix packs from the first title in DJ Hero 2.
This only applies to DLC packs, not to the original DJ Hero tracklist - much to the annoyance of some Facebook posters. "Everyone needs to spam this thread by saying the same thing. LET US IMPORT DJH 1 SONGS" is a popular reaction to the announcement, but one which perhaps doesn't take into account the various rights and licensing issues that would be involved with that.
There's also no word from Activision as to whether this same patch will be coming to the Wii version of DJ Hero 2.
