'Incremental' PC Patch Released For Fallout: New Vegas

The promised "incremental" patch for the PC version of Fallout: New Vegas (version 1.1.1) is available to download now on Steam.

A full list of changes is posted on Bethesda's forums, but the main issues addressed are stuttering performance related to water and DirectX. Save corruptions have also been tackled.

Companions should now behave a bit better too. They should always fast travel with the player (unless instructed to wait or told to leave) which will hopefully put an end to the mystery of the disappearing Veronica. Now, companions should show up as waypoints on the PipBoy map as well.

The post ends with reference to the previously-announced and more comprehensive patch that's due for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3: "As mentioned previously, we still have a comprehensive update coming for PC, 360, and PS3. As we have more details, we'll share them with you."
