Bonus Content In PS3 Version Of Mass Effect 2 Detailed

BioWare's Jesse Houston has taken to the forums and outlined the host of extra goodies that will be included with the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2 when it releases in January 2011.

As the original Mass Effect never made it to the PS3, Dark Horse Comics will be providing an "interactive comic" that will introduce PS3 players to the Mass Effect universe and confront them with "some of the major choices which will have consequences your Mass Effect universe."

This comic will be on Mass Effect's content-delivery system "Cerberus Network," which players will get an access code to.

On the disc itself, alongside the main game, will be the add-ons "Lair of the Shadow Broker, Project Overlord, Kasumi: Stolen Memory" as well as the controversial Blood Dragon Armour originally available via Dragon Age Origins. Houston also notes that "There will also be some DLC Bundles, such as the Aegis Pack as well as exclusive both Free and Paid DLC for all PlayStation 3 owners such as the Recon Operations Pack."
