Patch 1.41 has arrived for Gearbox Software's cel-shaded shooter Borderlands today, and is available now through digital networks (Steam, Xbox LIVE, PSN) and manually at Gearbox's website.
The major change is a level cap increase of 8 for all players, meaning those with the original game can now reach level 58. Players who own The Secret Armory of General Knoxx add-on can now level up all the way to 69. Item drops and enemies will now scale to the new level caps (providing "play through 2" has been completed.)
In addition, the patch sorts out some unspecified glitches with trophies and achievements.
