Resident Evil and Dino Crisis creator Shinji Mikami has signed a deal to join ZeniMax Media (owners of Bethesda,) promising the partnership with deliver more 'blockbuster games'.
Mikami’s development firm Tango Gameworks will now be fully owned by Fallout: New Vegas publisher Bethesda.
The renowned Japanese developer, who boasts an extraordinary track record with five of his titles scoring 90 or more on Metacritic, said the new deal teams him up with a company 'dedicated to creating the best games ever made ’.
“It’s refreshing to find a publisher who understands, trusts, and supports the development of blockbuster games and works to make it a collaborative effort,” said Mikami.
“The library of AAA franchise titles ZeniMax owns speaks for itself. We are very excited to be joining ZeniMax and working with a company that is dedicated to creating the best games ever made.”
