Download World of Warcraft: Cataclysm and Start Playing Immediately
23 Oct 2010 at 04:32:11 by Paul YoungerWorld of Warcraft fans were told by Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime this morning that World of Warcraft: Cataclysm will be available for pre-order digital download direct from Blizzard before release. This means that as soon as the servers are switched on at midnight on 7 December, you can already have the game installed and start playing right away.
We're pretty sure Blizzard will employ this sales method for all their titles in the future which will not be great news for boxed copy retailers.
