Mixed Reviews Will Stop MOH Hitting Three Million Sales, Claims Pachter
19 Oct 2010 at 12:55:52 by Dave GibbonDespite going straight to the top of this week’s games chart, analyst Michael Pachter has told IncGamers that the mixed reviews received by the EA game Medal of Honor means it’s unlikely to sell more than three million copies.
The Wedbush Morgan analyst said the lost sales Medal of Honor will suffer due to its mixed reviews will be picked up by Halo: Reach and Call of Duty: Black Ops.
Pachter told IncGamers: “the reviews probably cost Medal of Honor any upside above the 3 million that the game is likely to sell, and I suppose it's fair to say that this missing upside will be captured by other games.
“That should benefit both Halo Reach and Call of Duty Black Ops.”
