Each year at BlizzCon a top headline act closes the show, last year it was Ozzy and previous acts have included Videogames Live and the Offspring. This year Blizzard are bringing Tenacious D to the stage featuring the one and only Jack Black and Kyle Gass. Blizzard's CEO Mike Morhaime had this to say about the booking:
“The best way to wrap up two days of epic entertainment is with an epic rock concert—and few bands fit the bill like Tenacious D..“We’re looking forward to a great show and can’t wait to see what Jack and Kyle have in store for everyone attending BlizzCon and watching from home.”
The gig will also be broadcast on DirectTV in the US for those who can't make it along to the event.
