Report: 'Gamers Abandon COD For Halo: Reach'

A new report from gaming tracker service Raptr has revealed a staggering number of Call of Duty players have stopped playing the Activision title as much since Halo: Reach was launched.

The firm confirmed that the amount of time users spent playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 had fell ‘by 50%’ since the Bungie game went on sale.

The report also confirmed that ‘over 37% of Halo: Reach players have already beaten the single player game on Normal or above difficulty level’.

Raptr also said Halo: Reach players spent a large amount of time with the game during its launch week, stating: ‘About 1/3 of Halo: Reach players have already racked up 30 hours of gameplay in the 1st week of launch.’
