Kings' Crusade Producer: "We Learned From Our Mistakes"

Speaking to IncGamers, Lionheart: Kings' Crusade producer Zoltag Varga has said that the Neocore Team listened to the design feedback they received from players of King Arthur: The Role-Playing Wargame.

"We learned from our mistakes, yes" Varga told us, "We made some changes after receiving considerable feedback about the overpowered archers in King Arthur."

"To tell the truth, the core of the problem was rather a design choice than a balance issue ... But as soon as we realized that gamers had other thoughts on the matter, we decided to change this in Lionheart."

Varga also explained that difficulty settings will be tweaked in Lionheart; "On Easy, you’ll be able to win the battles even if you don’t spare too much time for tactical actions whereas playing on Very Hard demands you to take advantage of your tactical skills."

Lionheart: Kings' Crusade is due for PC release on 8 October, through both digital download and retail channels.
