Worms 2 Armageddon PS3 Launches Today

Team 17 has released Worms 2: Armageddon today for the PlayStation 3.

We revealed earlier this week the studio was planning on releasing the fantastic Worms title on PSN this week and now the turn based title can be picked up for £11.99 GBP.

The game features 27 trophies and numerous exclusive customisation items including hat items for such Sony exclusives as Sackboy, MotorStorm, Lemmings, Helghast and Buzz.

Team 17 has also promised an improved landscape generator which promises "unlimited random level design."

Martyn Brown studio head at Team 17 said, “We’re delighted to finally bring Worms 2: Armageddon to PSN and we’re sure it’ll provide a huge hit with fans of the game, especially with the great new customisation options and the addition of some new and classic weaponry for this platform. We’ve taken time to really polish this edition and it looks fantastic in 1080p and as usual, provides endless hours of mayhem on or offline.”
