PES 2011 Wii Version Detailed

Konami has detailed the Wii version of Pro Evolution Soccer 2011.

Despite recent 360 and PS3 versions falling short the Wii version of PES has been a huge success year on year and producer Akiyoshi Chosogabe will be returning once again for the next iteration of the footy title.

The aim of the PES 2011 will be to give the player “more control over the action than ever before.”

Once again players will be able to play the game using either the dual control method of the Wii Remote and Nunchuck or if you prefer the Wii's Classic Controller.

Users will now have the option to play either online or offline against an opponent using a different control scheme opening up the possibility to see how players fair using the opposite control options.

Brand new additions include the ability to set up set pieces and dictate where players make their runs as the balls are played. To compliment this new feature a brand new camera angle is available for corners allowing you to zoom in and change the angle to see where players run in from.

Expect a wide variety of brand new feints and skills for the Wii version along with more realistic player models and animations to follow suit with the Xbox 360 and PS3 version.

Konami has also announced certain international teams will sing their national anthem in the build up to the kick-off.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 will launch on Xbox 360, PS3 and Nintendo Wii in October.

For those of you undecided on the 360 or PS3 version then be sure to check out the playable demo when it launches fully next week or tomorrow exclusively for PS+ owners.
