Worms 2 Armageddon PS3 Launch Confirmed

Team 17 has confirmed the PS3 release of Worms 2 Armageddon will launch this week.

Posting on the official Worms fan page on social networking site Facebook, the studio confirmed the game would be available through PSN.

The post read, “Worms 2 Armageddon on PS3 should be available to download later this week in Europe.”

After recently chatting to Team 17 head Martyn Brown we knew the game had recently been in beta testing and it was scheduled for a summer launch but now that release has become more specific.

Worms 2 Armageddon will feature all of the new items that featured in the Xbox 360 launch last year, no word on whether the Battle Pack will also be included in the download.

Team 17 has yet to specify a price or whether the game will be hitting the USA. Stay tuned for more details as they break.
