Not content with the announcement of Duke Nukem Forever, Gearbox has confirmed Borderlands will receive a level-cap increase from 61-69. Oh and the best part of this announcement? The update will be completely free!
The announcement came out during PAX this weekend and will come ahead of the latest DLC, Claptrap Revolution which is scheduled to hit Xbox LIVE and PSN on 28 September.
As well as the eight-level increase the game will receive a huge re-balancing of what we assume will be certain skills in the game. We've contacted Gearbox to find out exactly what changes are coming with the update.
A free level increase along with upcoming DLC, this is why I love the loot-based shooter. If you've not picked it up yet then I recommend you do. Check out our review here and if you're sold you may want to wait for the Game of the Year Edition when it launches in October.
