Extra MAG Character Slots Now Available

Players of the 256 player online PS3 shooter MAG will now be able to play as different PMCs with the ability to pick up extra character slots.

However the option to unlock an extra character slot will set back gamers a $0.99 USD subscription fee to have the ability to play as numerous characters.

Jeremy Dunham confirmed the new feature is available on the official MAG blog yesterday.

“Gamers who log in this afternoon will discover two additional slots below their original default character,” read the post before Dunham added, “These supplementary character subscriptions will last for 30 days from the day they’ve been purchased, but don’t fret if you decide not to renew one or both of them immediately. Once your extra characters have been created, they reside safely dormant on the MAG server until activated for subscription once again.”

The extra character slots have been apart of the new beta client for the game which also includes new game modes and brand new maps.

Do you play MAG? Are you willing to pay extra money to play as a different PMC? Let us know in the comments section.
