Mass Effect Fan Makes Replica Assembly Rifle


Have you ever had so much spare time on your hands that you thought, “Hey you know what let's make a replica Assembly rifle from the Mass Effect series.”? Well this man has and it truly shows that hard work can pay off in the end.

28 year old Harrison Krix a replica and prop designer created the stunning looking replica from the popular Sci-fi RPG series.

Posting on his blog, Krix stated, “I've been a huge Mass Effect fan for a while now, and with the release of the second game I knew I wanted to take a crack at building some of the weaponry from the ME universe. As a bit of a personal challenge to myself, I decided to construct this gun from as much of my existing materials as possible. That is to say, 95% of what you see here is scrap I had in my shop from other builds.”

So the final cost of this masterpiece? Well the designer confirmed “In the end, the entire piece only cost me $28 in raw materials.” Definitely a bargain, check out the pics of the Assembly rifle in all its glory below:
