R.U.S.E. Demo Hits Steam

Ubisoft appears to be employing some game-specific tactics with the release of the R.U.S.E. demo.

The first information hinted at a 25 August release for the PC, but offered little detail regarding console versions. Then, the first demo actually released on 25 August was for the PS3 (though only for those with a PlayStation Plus account.)

While our attention was distracted by that, the PC demo snuck onto Steam after all.

Which, of course, still leaves the whereabouts of the Xbox LIVE demo unknown. According to the R.U.S.E. forums, however, it should also be released today - though the scheduled time of release has already passed.

Ultimately, everybody who wants to should be able to get a sample the single-player R.U.S.E. campaign by the end of the day.
