Epic Mickey creator Warren Spector has revealed to IncGamers that he wants Epic Mickey to continue as a series.
Asked whether he wants to see a sequel if Epic Mickey does well, Spector gave us a resounding “Yes, I have no interest on working on one offs. I want to do things that have a life beyond me, beyond the team, beyond a single game.”
He also revealed plans for comics and graphic novels to continue the Wastelands and Epic Mickey saga.
He continued, “I hope there are wasteland games featuring Mickey Mouse and also the Lucky Rabbit for years to come. We’re doing comic books and graphic novels, I want Wasteland to live on beyond this game.”
Epic Mickey puts players in the role of Disney's Mickey Mouse as he explores the Wasteland which is filled with the forgotten and rejected characters of the Disney world. Check back later this week for the full interview with Warren Spector.
