Former Spice Girl Mel B, who is the face behind The BLAZE Fitness First range, has told IncGamers she wants to ‘encourage everybody to become totally fit’ and is keen to ‘maximise the potential of console-based games’.
Dubbed as Scary Spice, the 35 year-old fitness fanatic, who has already had a best-selling DVD out entitled ‘Totally Fit’, will see her name added to a range of Fitness First gaming accessories, with the first being the Step Riser for the Nintendo Wii Balance Board.
Mel B told IncGamers this morning: "The BLAZE Fitness First range of Nintendo Wii accessories are a great idea as I want to encourage everybody to become totally fit. I think this new range will help people realise how good they can feel by exercising regularly, and maximizing the potential of games console based exercise"
The BLAZE Step Riser is designed to fit under the Balance Board and adds just over four inches to its height, bringing it up to the standard aerobics height, which, according to BLAZE, enables you to ‘work yourself harder when stepping on and off the board, bringing you quicker results’.
Also included in the pack is a voucher entitling the buyer to a five day free trial in their local Fitness First health club and gym.
The BLAZE Fitness First Mel B Step Riser will be available this October and can be purchased from BLAZE and leading video games stores for £14.99.
