Red Dead Redemption To Ban Players Tomorrow

Rockstar Games has confirmed the ban hammer will be raining down tomorrow for cheaters in Red Dead Redemption.

Players have had a week to delete save game hacks and anyone still playing the game with these cheats will soon be finding themselves multiplayer-less.

"Starting on Tuesday, August 24th - we will be swiftly and indefinitely banishing from the world of Red Dead Redemption multiplayer all Gamertags and PSN IDs we've detected with hacked game saves,” read the email from the developer.

Rockstar described the hacking as a “clear violation of our code of conduct” and that punishments would be “at our sole discretion."

We absolutely loved Red Dead Redemption and believe rather than being banned, all cheaters should be lined up and subsequently hanged in-game with the general population of the game being able to take it turns firing off rounds at the targets...that sounds like a much more appropriate punishment.
