Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has become the biggest selling British video game of all time.
Dr Kawashima's Brain Training on Nintendo DS used to hold the crown but the fantastic Modern Warfare 2 from Activision took just 41 weeks to wrestle the crown away from the Dr and his brain training escapades.
Not bad considering Brain Training took 36 months to overtake the previous holder Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
According to Chart Track, Modern Warfare 2 has only been out of the top 10 for entertainment software for three weeks since its release.
While the sales figures haven't been released we can safely assume they are well up in the millions. Bobby Kotick must be rubbing his hands in glee especially with Call of Duty: Black Ops launching in November.
