Polyphony Digital boss Kazunori Yamauchi has told journalists at Gamescom that one of the features in Gran Turismo 5 has made it into the game by chance.
During a press conference in Cologne, Yamauchi revealed that the go-karting mode in GT5 was meant to appear in Gran Turismo 6: “This is something we were actually saving for Gran Turismo 6. But the information leaked out so we decided we would just put it in this one.”
Regarded as one of the most delayed games in history, Gran Turismo 5 is scheduled for a November 3rd release in the UK.
In total, more than 55 million Gran Turismo games have been sold worldwide.
