Warhammer Online RVR Pack Revealed

BioWare Mythic has announced a Realm vs Realm pack for Warhammer Online at Gamescom this week.

The reveal came through an interview with executive producer Carrie Gouskos who confirmed the new add-on was in development promising a full reveal on Saturday.

Renown Rank will be increased 20 levels from 80 to 100 meaning a much bigger grind at the end-game to get those precious renown levels.

Gouskos also announced Skaven would feature but not from level 1, "We want to do something... different with Skaven" she said with some of the community suggesting this could mean the much sought after race will be playable once you hit level 40 much like the Death Knight in World of Warcraft.

She also promised the game would not be going down the free-to-play route but the company are looking at smaller expansions on a quicker timescale rather than "release a huge expansion every 2 years."

Sounds good to me, WAR is one of the most underrated MMOs out there and all that it needs is some new content to bring back the player numbers. Check out our review of the game when it launched in our review.

Patch 1.3.6 was released earlier this week the full details on the update can be found here.
