Warner Bros. Interactive has announced the free-to-play version of MMORPG Lord of The Rings Online will be available on 10 September.
The client will be free to download and play with players having to pay through micro-transactions for expansions, additional quest packs and items through a new LOTRO Store.
Turbine will in charge of the move to the free-to-play model after successfully re-launching Dungeons and Dragons Online using the free model.
