NPD has revealed that StarCraft II was the best-selling software of July, selling 721,000 copies at US retail.
Rather impressive considering that StarCraft II launched on 27 July, giving it only five days to rack up those figures - and even more impressive when you remember it was a single-system launch on PC.
Last week, Activision revealed that StarCraft II had sold 1.5 million copies in the first 48 hours, making it the biggest PC launch of the year.
Perhaps this explains why it slipped down the charts at the start of the week - because everyone's already got it. They'd have good reason, at least, because going by our review it's a little bit special.
