Global Agenda Announced For Retail Release

After a digital-only release in February, Hi-Rez has announced the third person MMO shooter will now launch as a retail edition in the UK on 10 September.

“We have a very passionate Global Agenda community in Europe”, said Global Agenda Executive Producer Todd Harris before adding “And with the Sandstorm expansion, the upcoming UK retail release, and European servers we’re excited to grow that community further”.

Recently Hi-Rez changed Global Agenda to a free-to-play model with all content up to and including the upcoming Sandstorm expansion will be available with no charge. After Sandstorm, Hi-Rez will then charge for additional expansions using a micro-transaction model that has been successful with the likes of Dungeons and Dragons Online.

Ahead of the retail launch in September a variety of online retailers are now accepting pre-orders for the boxed copy of the game with the game retailing for around £19.99 GBP.
