Kaka Confirmed As Global FIFA 11 Cover Star

EA Sports has confirmed Real Madrid playmaker will be the global cover artist for FIFA 11.

The former FIFA World Player Of The Year is one of the biggest names in football and was present at the recent World Cup in South Africa.

“I’ve always been a fan of EA SPORTS and especially the FIFA series,” said Kaka.

The Brazilian international star added, “Being on the FIFA 11 cover is a great honor for me since very few players have this opportunity, and there have been some great footballers featured on the cover of this truly amazing football game.”

EA Sports hope Kaka’s technical ability will transfer over to the game with the new Personality + feature that headlines this years version of the hit footy title.

“With Kaka’s visionary style of football he’s always one step ahead of the opposition, moving into space with an often subtle change of pace and delivering crisp, creative one-touch passes and catching the goalkeepers off guard with strikes often from distance on either foot,” explained Matt Bilbey VP of football at EA Sports.

“His play is unlike any other player in our game and you will feel individual differences like this in each player, in every match,”

Joining him on the front cover for the UK version of the game will be Manchester United and England striker Wayne Rooney, let’s hope his dismal World Cup wont affect the sales of the upcoming FIFA title.
