Force Unleashed Executive Producer Leaves Lucas Arts

Haden Blackman, the executive producer of the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed series has left LucasArts.

Blackman has been at the studios for 13 years and helped with previous Star Wars titles, Galaxies and Force Commander as well as penning numerous Star Wars comics and novels.

LucasArts has confirmed the on-going development for The Force Unleashed II will not be affected with Blackman’s departure.

“I’ve had a fantastic time working with the team at Lucasfilm and am really grateful for their ongoing support,” Blackman told IGN.

He stated, “While the decision to leave LucasArts did not happen overnight or come easily, I really feel that now is the best time for me to move on and explore new creative challenges and I look forward to the next phase of my career.”

Haden Blackman only just recently released a new developer diary for The Force Unleashed II before leaving the team, lets hope the game lives up to the hype when it launches in October.
