Naughty Dog has detailed the new update for Uncharted 2 that will launch this evening.
The 1.09 update will feature numerous changes including the fix to multiplayer skins that allow voices to be included in future skin releases.
Certain major exploits that people use in the online sections have been fixed including the ability for players to “super throw” the treasure in Plunder matches.
Cash awarded in the Elimination mode has been upped to $750 a kill. To implement this Naughty Dog has also coded in a new feature that allows the developer to easily change the amount of money earned for medals in the different game modes and playlist as well as changing cash earned per-kill.
In-game cash for certain objective based medals have also been scaled accordingly due to the changes mentioned above. The rewards for these models are only given out in the objective games:
- Tip Off – $1,000
- Captured – $4,000
- That’s Embarrassing – $10,000
- Protectorate – $2,000
- No Cigar – $2,000
- Drop It – $1,000
- None Shall Pass – $5,000
- Expansionist – $5,000
The 1.09 update will go live for people signed onto the PSN service at approximately 6pm BST tonight.
