EA Sports has changed the manager mode for FIFA 11 now making it a career mode.
The main thing for this new career mode is that it has been built from scratch for FIFA 11 and allows you to play through a footballer’s career as a player, and then a player-manager and then finally a manager.
A brand new transfer mode has been confirmed with a full calendar implemented into the game allowing you to properly plan you and your team’s priorities.
The game now implements a two-stage negotiation process meaning once a bid is accepted you will then have to negotiate with the player offering them wages and perks to join the club. Rather than the previous version where you offered a price and wage in one motion, this means you can have an offer accepted by a club and then rejected by the player.
Players will be able to download their friends characters using the creation centre into career mode allowing you and your mates to go out as one team to take on some of biggest teams in the world.
A new online “news portal” interface has been created as the main hub for the game, showing news stories, league ladders, top scorers and a career rating to show you how you are fairing in the tough world of playing/management.
Finally injuries were detailed with the variety and reality of injuries being improved since previous versions. Players will now be able out for a much more specific amount of time with times varying depending on the type of knock or injury that occurred in the game.
