While Michael Jordan will be a cover star for upcoming 2K Games title NBA 2K11 he will also feature in his own stand-alone game mode for the basketball title.
The five-time NBA MVP winner will be recreated in-game and will give gamers the chance to replay some of the biggest career-defining moments of the Chicago Bulls star.
“Fans of the series are going to be thrilled to know that in NBA 2K11 Michael Jordan is much, much more than just a cover athlete,” said Jason Argent of 2K Sports.
The Jordan Challenge will feature such memorable achievements such as scoring 69 points against the Cavaliers in 1990. Battle back from the flu and defeat defeat the Utah Jazz in game 6 of the 1997 finals.
Players will also be able to play as some of the greatest teams in the history of NBA including the ‘85-’86, ’89-’90, ’90-’91, ’94-’95, ’95-’96, ’96-’97, and ’97-’98 Chicago Bulls teams.
NBA 2K11 will launch 8 October on PS3 and Xbox 360.
