Need For Speed World Racing Onto PCs 27 July

Black Box has announced MMO racing title Need For Speed World will launch on 27 July.

The Electronic Arts studio has announced gamers who pre-order the title will be able to enter the expansive world a week earlier on 20 July.

The game “combines the rush of illicit street racing, deep RPG style progression and vehicle customisation” to Need For Speed World to create a unique socially-connected Need For Speed experience.

Players will be able to challenge racers either through their friend list or using the in-game challenge menu to race against any one of the thousands playing across a 150-mile open world which includes police pursuits amongst other things.

If you pre-order the title not only do you gain early access but also players will unlock exclusive cars, earn double XP, reserve their driver names and also have VIP status displayed on their drivers profile.

The Need For Speed Starter Pack will be available for £14.99 GBP and with that offers gamers in-game credit called SpeedBoost for the said amount. The starter pack will also give players full access to level up your racer to level 50 and also will see an assortment of power-ups bundled in the pack.

A free client download is available through world.needforspeed.com and gives gamers the chance to trial Need For Speed World up to level 10. Drivers will also be able to access all the races, pursuits and career progression from the main game.
