Earlier today a video popped up on Youtube which alluded to the fact that Activision were looking at ways to charge for multiplayer and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The video was iffy at best so we chose to ignore it, but just to make sure everyone gets the message, Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling has tweeted to confirm it is indeed garbage.
"Modern Warfare 2 subscription plan rumors going around. For the record, nobody has to pay to play COD or MW2 multiplayer, nor will they."
There you go. Can't get straighter than that.
