Activision Blizzard, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) will announce the Second Quarter 2010 results on Thursday, August 5, 2010 at a conference call after the close of the market. This conference call will be broadcast live over the internet at 1:30pm Pacific Time(4:30pm EST).
Previous quarter conference calls have been the platform where Blizzard's president Mike Morhaime makes important announcements about upcoming and current Blizzard games and services.
Morhaime announced at the 2009 Fourth Quarter Report the estimated date for the beginning of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty Beta.
The upcoming second quarter report might reveal the release date for World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, and other surprising announcements may be unveiled as a teaser for Blizzcon 2010, which is scheduled to be in the Anaheim Convention Center through October 22-23th.
