Aion Assault on Balaurea Expansion Dated

NCsoft has given a release date for the free expansion for MMORPG Aion titled Assault on Balaurea.

The add-on will launch in North America and Europe on 7 September.

However, NCsoft is also releasing a retail version of the full game that will feature the expansion and exclusive in-game pets. This will be available on 10 September.

In Assault On Balaurea characters can align together to fight off the advancing Balaur. New and updated instances have been promised as well as an increased level cap and also new weapons and items.

The add-on will also feature added flight mechanics and the introduction of in-game pets that come equipped with “in-game benefits.”
